About the coach
NASM Certified Personal Trainer · Kinesiology & Exercise Science student, Concordia University Irvine · Strength & Conditioning Coach, Aliso Niguel High School
I’m a student at Concordia University Irvine, studying Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. My coursework centers on the science behind human movement and how targeted exercise improves sport performance, health, and overall well-being. Theory has been foundational to my development as a coach — but the hands-on application has sharpened me most, pushing me to use only the methods that actually work.
I hold my NASM-CPT and currently serve as a strength and conditioning coach at Aliso Niguel High School, working with athletes across multiple sports. My practical experience began in a CrossFit gym, where I built my foundation in strength training and proper lifting technique. Since then I’ve worked across several facilities with distinct training styles and diverse populations. Each role has deepened my ability to apply sound theory in ways that are intentional and specific to the athlete in front of me.
Through all of it, I’ve developed a genuine fascination with what it takes to produce great sport performers — the science behind high-level athleticism, and how the body adapts to the demands placed on it. That keeps my coaching in a constant state of refinement, whether I’m working with a beginner or an experienced competitor.
No tryout, no screening. If a young person wants to get better, that’s the only qualification that matters.
Background
Coaching philosophy
Sessions are built around research-backed drills and activities that develop real athleticism — not rigid movement patterns or hollow performance metrics. My goal is to produce athletes who can adapt to what their sport actually asks of them, not just what looks good in a training session.
That has to be matched to the athlete. A 10-year-old and a 16-year-old are not the same athlete with different numbers on the bar, so I program to training age and developmental stage rather than to what a highlight video makes training look like.
The name is the whole idea. Development is a line, not a switch, and every athlete is somewhere on it.
Accountability
Continuum Performance is a service of Continuum LLC, a California limited liability company, operated solely by me — an ongoing business offering these services to the general public throughout Orange County.
I carry liability insurance through Continuum LLC, and documentation is available on request. Services are non-sectarian, non-discriminatory, and open to any athlete who registers.
Tell me your athlete’s age, their sport, and what you want them to get better at. I’ll recommend a program and give you a straight answer on cost.
Never trained a day, or deep into a season — there’s a program that fits.
