Who I am and what I provide

I’m Jackson Pearson, owner and sole operator of Continuum Performance, a service of Continuum LLC. I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, currently completing a B.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science at Concordia University Irvine, and serve as a strength and conditioning coach at Aliso Niguel High School.

Continuum Performance is an ongoing business offering these services to the general public, and privately paying families make up the majority of my work. Charter partnerships extend the same programs to homeschool families through school enrichment funding.

What makes this an easy vendor file

Every program publishes its grade range, session length, session count, group size, and written learning objectives on the Programs page, and maps to the California PE Model Content Standards below.

I carry liability insurance through Continuum LLC. A Certificate of Insurance and a completed W-9 are available to your school on request, and I will complete any additional clearance your approval process requires.

Curriculum

California PE Model Content Standards alignment

Each program is written against the five overarching standards, scaled to its grade span.

The five standards

  1. Standard 1 — Students demonstrate the motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities.
  2. Standard 2 — Students demonstrate knowledge of movement concepts, principles, and strategies that apply to the learning and performance of physical activities.
  3. Standard 3 — Students assess and maintain a level of physical fitness to improve health and performance.
  4. Standard 4 — Students demonstrate knowledge of physical fitness concepts, principles, and strategies to improve health and performance.
  5. Standard 5 — Students demonstrate and utilize knowledge of psychological and sociological concepts, principles, and strategies that apply to the learning and performance of physical activity.

How the mapping is used

The table shows how each program addresses each standard within its grade span. The session-level objectives are published on the Programs page and are the same ones used in progress reporting.

If your school needs a specific course description format, standards crosswalk, syllabus, or progress reporting template, I will complete and return it.

Regular sustained activity every session; introduction to the components of fitness. Names the purpose of warm-up, effort, and rest in age-appropriate language. Cooperation in partner and small-group tasks; persistence and positive self-talk.
Youth Athletic Development
Grades 6–8
Loaded squat, hinge, lunge, push, pull; sprint mechanics; hop and bound progressions. Force production and absorption, bracing, acceleration posture, and mechanical advantage. Tiered progression across strength, speed, and plyometric qualities month over month. Applies progressive overload, warm-up structure, and recovery to their own training. Goal setting, self-assessment, training-floor etiquette, and peer support.
High School Strength & Conditioning
Grades 9–12
Compound lifts, max-velocity sprinting, deceleration and change-of-direction mechanics. Periodization, movement economy, and biomechanics of injury-risk reduction. Competitive self-regulation, focus under fatigue, and constructive response to feedback.
Adaptive Athletic Development
All grade spans
Individually selected movement goals: strength, balance, gait, coordination, or endurance. Movement concepts taught through the athlete’s preferred communication and sensory supports. Sustained, safe participation with individually appropriate fitness targets. Recognizes effort, fatigue, and recovery using a supported communication method. Confidence, self-determination, routine familiarity, and dignified participation.
1:1 Individualized Training
All grade spans
Full technical coaching on every movement in the athlete’s individual program. Athlete can explain the purpose and design of each block of their plan. Individually defined fitness outcomes reviewed and revised throughout. Builds independent warm-up, effort regulation, and recovery habits. Goal ownership, self-efficacy, and independent training behavior between sessions.

Vendor compliance

Documentation checklist

All available on request, in whatever format your approval process requires.

  • Certificate of Liability Insurance Available on request. Your school can be named as an additional insured on the policy.
  • Non-sectarian and non-discriminatory Services contain no religious or sectarian content and are provided without discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, medical condition, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Open access No tryouts, auditions, testing, or screening of any kind is required to participate in any program. Movement screening, when used, occurs inside the first session as a coaching tool only — never as a condition of access.
  • Independent contractor, sole operator Continuum LLC is a California limited liability company operated solely by Jackson Pearson. A completed W-9 is available on request.
  • Offered to the general public These services are provided to the general public as an ongoing business, not exclusively to charter school students. Public rates are published on the Rates page.
  • No fees charged to families For charter-funded services, the school is invoiced directly. Families are never charged, asked for a deposit, or asked to pay any difference.

What Continuum Performance is not

Not a private school, and no instruction in any academic subject area. Not a religious organization, and no sectarian content. A physical training service delivered by a single independent contractor, purchased per session or per program.

Process

How it works

The standard vendor flow. The school is billed directly.

  1. Family requests

The family selects Continuum Performance through their school’s enrichment ordering system.

  2. School authorizes

The school issues an Enrichment Certificate or purchase order with the session count and authorized amount.

  3. Sessions delivered

Scheduled with the family and delivered as described, with attendance recorded.

  4. School invoiced

An itemized invoice referencing the certificate number goes to the school, which pays Continuum LLC directly.

Billing, stated plainly

For school-funded services, the school is billed directly and families are never charged. No co-pay, no deposit, no supply fee, no balance due on any authorized program. Training beyond what the school authorizes is entirely optional and quoted separately at the published public rates.
